Aloha, I have just completed a book to be published in the next six months. You can hear all about it on my introduction video. I also offer consulting for selecting a Realtor anywhere in the country to help you with buying or selling Real Estate. I have 30 years of Real Estate sales and company ownership experience and was a continuing education instructor for the Colorado Association of Realtors. I had a Real Estate license in Colorado, Hawaii and Arizona. I no longer list and sell, I act as a consultant to help people purchase and liquidate property. I spend the winters in Maui, Hawaii and live in Williams, AZ in the summer. Williams is the gate way to the Grand Canyon and only 30 minutes from Flagstaff. I also offer individual workshops to reinvent yourself in the changing economy with outdoor activity. I call them "rehab" workshops with trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. You can fish, hike, ATV, raft and set goals in one fun program. Most people find it difficult to think with the noise of the rat race raging around you. I offer a different environment for goal setting and redefining yourself.

Selling yourself on your page

I have a very sincere question. Why would anyone put up a page on the internet to "sell" something with no picture or a graphic to attact viewers or friends? Just wondering what the mind set is... might be a good article... the thought process of marketing on the internet and what works and what doesn't? There is a section some of you might be missing on "your page" where you write "notes" about what it is your are selling or why you are participating. I'm semi-retired...owned several salon & spas for years. Also taught Cosmetology, substituted grades k - 12, worked as a Casino Host, ......the list goes on. I've been writing, just to write since I was about 14, but never got serious enough or lacked the confidence I guess, do really pursue it.
Soooo, now that I have no idea who or what I am, do, etc etc etc. I'm giving the writing thing some priority. I write about so many things....I'm all over the place.
Very interested in the whole baby boomers' thing. Have a couple articles on that. I seem to have a combo of comedy and inspriation to just about anything I do write. I dont know. There is the light and the dark side to alot of my stuff.
I'm just a tad complex!! Tell me more about yourself, and how lucky you aare to be leaving in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

The only charge I know about at EZA is for Platinum membership. Maybe you can only submit 10 at a time, but over time you can submit an unlimited number for free.

Writing that many articles is a way of building momentum. It's not just writing them, but submitting them to EzineArticles.com and maybe the next 2 directories, but they really can't touch the volume of traffic to their sites like EZA. The number 2 directory gets HALF the traffic!

Usually articles are not sold. They are a way of pointing people to your own site at the end of your articles in the "resource box." People come to a reputable article directory like EZA to find content for their blogs/sites, newsletters, etc. When they do that, you're not only exposed to people visiting the article directory, but also to the subscribers or site visitors of anyone who downloaded your articles.

You'll need to start following Jeff Herring and study his methods (very do-able!). He's got this down to a science.

Now, if I could just get my OWN momentum going. Haven't even written one! eek!

Don't forget, if you haven't already, sign up for a free account at EZA (http://ezinearticles.com) You'll want to make sure you take that step, too, as they have to approve your articles before they will publish them.

And that's the point -- getting your content and your name out there.
